Good afternoon everyone!
Talking about the KIMONO shop that my husband and I run is called “KIMONO MATSUHANA” and its main shop is located in YOKOHAMA which is historically famous due to its port.
YOKOHAMA is a city with an exotic atmosphere having quickly absorbed foreign cultures, still keeping that of Japan too at the same time.
In general, the inhabitants of YOKOHMA called “HAMAKKO” are proud of their fashion, elderly people even, so they have good sense and wear their cloths well.
Of course there are many people there who love KIMONOs.
In 20 minutes by train from YOKOHAMA, there is another historical place called “KAMAKURA” which is a town where KIMONOs blend in well with the scenery.
In the north of KAMAKURA, “KITA-KAMAKURA”, there is an ancient temple called “’Meigetsu-in” also known as “a temple of AJISAI (Japanese Hydrangea)”.
In this season, many people visit there to see plenty of AJISAIs. Appreciating those AJISAIs in KIMONO and then having WASHOKU (Japanese cuisine) at a restaurant in KOMACHI Street, this is an absolute privilege of Japanese ladies!
